We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dishwasher / Lava Platos to join our dynamic culinary team! Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet sanitation standards.
- Support bussing duties by removing trash and organizing service areas to ensure smooth service flow.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to prevent contamination and uphold health regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and other related tools.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or crates while adhering to proper ergonomic practices for safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is advantageous.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
