American Traveler is hiring an RN Oncology Chemo Certified for an outpatient infusion center position requiring a CA license, BSN, and chemo certification.

Outpatient oncology and infusion center setting
-
Cares for patients with all oncological and hematological diagnoses
-
1:6 patient ratio
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
No weekend requirements
-
No on-call requirements
-
No floating required between units
-
Uses Epic charting system
-
Active CA RN license required
-
BSN required
-
1-2 years of oncology nursing experience required, 1-3 years preferred
-
Outpatient oncology experience required
-
BLS (AHA) certification required
-
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
-
CPHON, CPON, and OCN certifications preferred
-
Epic charting experience required
-
Skilled in IV therapy, port access/management, and central line care
-
Skilled in chemotherapy administration including IV push, continuous infusion, and oral administration
-
Experience managing chemotherapy side effects and symptom management
-
Prior travel assignment experience required
-
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments including immunotherapy
-
Manage ports, central lines, and PICC lines for infusion therapy
-
Monitor patients for chemotherapy side effects and abnormal lab values
-
Provide symptom management for conditions such as nausea, neuropathy, and altered mental status
-
Handle body fluids and cytotoxic spills per safety protocols
-
Administer medications including antiemetics, antitumor agents, corticosteroids, and hormonal therapies
-
Dark blue scrubs provided
-
Keep requested time off under 7 days per assignment when possible

Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Former UCLA contractors, travelers, or employees must complete a 12-month separation and clearance before reapplying
