This is a working, hands-on Maintenance Manager role at The Lafayette Hotel
You are expected to:
- Personally troubleshoot and repair issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general building)
- Lead, direct, and work alongside a maintenance team—setting the standard, not just assigning tasks
- Drive change, improve systems, and get measurable results (fewer emergencies, faster turns, cleaner rooms)
- Be on-site, in the rooms, and in the thick of it—often and visibly
- Put in the hours when problems arise, including nights, weekends, and emergencies
- Solve problems fully, not pass them along
