We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Part-Time Assistant Broadcast Producer to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be part of the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring seamless live transmissions and high-quality post-production. You will work closely with the lead broadcast team while also maintaining the autonomy to troubleshoot and manage tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Production Support: Assist the broadcast production team with daily operations, studio setup, and general production tasks.
- Transmission & Quality Control: Monitor live broadcasts and streams to ensure smooth, uninterrupted transmission.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical, audio, or video issues during live operations and pre-production.
- Content Editing: Perform video and audio editing tasks to prepare segments for broadcast or digital distribution.
- Independent Task Management: Take ownership of assigned projects and daily checklists with minimal supervision.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience or strong working knowledge in broadcast engineering, video editing, and audio engineering.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot technical glitches under tight deadlines.
- Autonomy: A self-starter who can work independently and manage time effectively within a 5-hour workday.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Location: Must be locally based in or near Chattanooga, TN, with reliable transportation to the studio.
