Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, protein shakes, and specialty drinks, following company recipes and food safety standards
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu options, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the store by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, dining areas, and food handling stations in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and communicating stock needs to management
- Support food preparation tasks such as fruit chopping, ingredient measuring, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed
- Lead shift activities by supervising team members, managing time efficiently during busy periods, and ensuring operational standards are met
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience in food service or café environments with knowledge of beverage preparation and food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory counting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning routines and food safety compliance
- Leadership qualities for Shift Leader responsibilities including supervising team members and supporting operational excellence
- Barista experience or coffee industry background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for healthy beverages is essential
