Member Duties : In the third and final year of tis VISTA project, the VISTA will assist with developing and implementing curricula for improving youth resiliency. Harvard University's Institute for the Study of Resilience in Youth (ISRY) develops curricula for summer and afterschool settings that teach young people about STEM and social/emotional skills, preparing them for academic and career success. The VISTA will support our work by assisting with: curriculum materials refinement; background research; community outreach materials and activities; webpage upkeep; curriculum evaluation; and fundraising research. The VISTA will have access to presentations by researchers and clinicians at McLean Hospital, a national leader in psychiatric research and care, to learn about educational and professional opportunities in research and clinical settings.
