Job Summary
Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. (TEC), a Petroleum Service and Construction company is looking for an experienced full-time Petroleum Construction Project Manager, with experience in complex petroleum construction & design-build projects, to work out of our Laurel, MD office.
Education and Experience:
- 5-10 years of extensive construction project management experience - primarily in commercial or governmental settings.
- Demonstrated experience working on projects between $500k to $5m.
- Quality Control Management and Safety Certificates preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal contract requirements is a plus.
- Experience with developing construction schedules for projects.

- Computer proficiency with knowledge if MS Office, including MS Project and Project Management Software.

Essential Job Functions:
- Understand the technical specifications and scope of work for each project assigned. This includes reviewing the TEC proposal and executed contract and identifying site specific challenges or risks.
- Review, analyze and research project specifications to effectively prepare submittals and compose RFI's (Request for Information) to address any inconsistencies.
- Manages day-to-day operation of assigned construction projects.
- Utilize a project management software (RedTeam) to issue authorizations to buy out the project and to track all of the activity on the project. This includes review of daily reports from the field to verify status of the project.
- Review subcontractor proposals and material suppliers to ensure compliance with both project and contract requirements.
- Secure materials in a timely and coordinated manner, especially with long-lead materials.
- Procure subcontractors utilizing standard subcontract agreements.
- Resource planning of personnel to execute project work plans, schedule and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate project close-out; to include obtaining required documentation, assisting in inspections and As-Built drawings.
- Manages project budget, forecasting, profitability and percent of completion of assigned projects.
- Ensures timely and accurate invoice approvals.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
