Responsibilities

- Previous residential cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in multiple homes throughout New York City
- Perform residential cleaning services in apartments, condos, and homes
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Dust surfaces, wipe baseboards, and clean fixtures
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and company standards
- Communicate proactively with the team regarding scheduling, client needs, or any issues that arise
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in clients’ homes
- Perform comprehensive residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
- Maintain floor care by applying appropriate techniques for carpet cleaning, hardwood polishing, or tile maintenance.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards, paying special attention to kitchens and bathrooms.
- Provide friendly customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their specific needs, and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
- Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required by clients, demonstrating versatility in household support services.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
- Background in custodial work or hotel housekeeping management provides a strong foundation for this role.
- Demonstrated customer service skills are essential for building trust and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and proper use of cleaning products ensures safe and effective service delivery.
