Duties
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.
- Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and staff supervision to maintain a motivated, skilled, and compliant nursing team.
- Manage the departmental budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation while adhering to organizational financial policies.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations through continuous monitoring and staff training initiatives.
- Provide instructional leadership in clinical practices by mentoring nursing staff and promoting ongoing professional development.
- Lead organizational efforts in quality assurance, risk management, and safety protocols to foster a secure environment for patients and staff alike.
- Facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams to promote cohesive operations and uphold high standards of care delivery.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of nursing personnel to sustain a high-performing team aligned with institutional values.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within healthcare settings, ideally in a leadership role
- Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational budget management to effectively oversee departmental resources.
- Extensive knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or academic settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional leadership, team management, personnel management in education or healthcare environments.
- Experience in education administration or university-level program oversight is highly desirable for understanding complex organizational structures.
