THE BARNES FIRM is looking to hire an experienced personal injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 4 years litigation experience, including preparing lawsuits, e-filing, propounding/responding to discovery, calendaring, familiar with CA court rules and civil procedures. Trial experience is highly preferred. Additional qualities we are seeking in a candidate include:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to prioritize, be organized, and handle volume
· Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
· Excellent computer skills
· High degree of professionalism
· Ability to exercise good judgment and meet deadlines
· Knowledge in quarter-backing client medical treatment and demand writing
· Responsible, have a great sense of attitude, and team player
