We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at Southport Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of our rehabilitation programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to integrate rehabilitation services into our care plans, promoting exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction
Recruit, train, and mentor rehabilitation staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
Develop and manage budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Liaise with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
Stay current with industry trends and research, applying knowledge to continuously improve our rehabilitation services and outcomes
Requirements:
MINIMUM 1 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE as a Director of Rehabilitation or in a similar leadership role
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field
** Strong leadership and management skills**, with experience in staff development and supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients
Current licensure/certification in the state of Connecticut (or ability to obtain)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
