Job Summary
JRG Plumbing & Heating is growing and has an immediate need of a full time licensed and experienced plumber. We are now based in the lakes region of New Hampshire but maintain a strong customer base in the greater Portsmouth area. We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable plumber to come on board to primarily help cover our existing customers in the seacoast area. Willingness to also assist in the Lakes region would be a huge plus as we aim to continue growing and expand into our new home base.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects effectively
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and personnel to job sites
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing system maintenance tools efficiently
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures
- Adhere strictly to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices during all phases of work
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress and solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, parts used, and project details
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial environments
- Familiarity with construction site procedures including heavy lifting, working at heights or confined spaces as needed
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as pipe threading machines or other construction power tools
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating a company vehicle in compliance with commercial driving regulations
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe sizes, flow rates, etc.
