Hanson School is seeking a full-time school nurse for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates who hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, have a minimum of two years experience in a clinical setting and hold a valid Maine RN license and/or Multistate RN license are invited to apply. The ideal candidate will: -promote the health and safety of students and staff -provide health assessments -develop and implement health plans -maintain, evaluate, and interpret cumulative health data to accommodate the individual health needs of students -coordinate referrals -possess strong written and verbal communication skills -follow confidentiality with regards to both student and staff health issues -collaborate with other team members -provide education/training in support of student health -follow state guidelines for the management of communicable diseases.
