We are currently looking for enthusiastic school bus drivers to join our team at our Elk River, Big Lake, and St. Michael locations!
No experience necessary! We offer paid training at $23 an hour and support you through the entire process to get your class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements. Once you are fully licensed the hourly rate starts at $29 an hour for school bus drivers.
Already licensed school bus drivers get a hiring bonus of $1,500.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A valid MN driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test, physical and background screening
- Professional level English fluency
Responsibilities and Duties
1) Drive a regular route Monday through Friday
2) Read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps
3) Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including child checks
4) Assist students in the loading and unloading process; maintain awareness of traffic to help direct students in safely crossing roads
5) Communicate and work effectively with department staff, school personnel, students, parents, and the public
6) Attend all safety and training meetings
7) Conduct emergency evacuations
8) Open and close service doors and move up and down steps multiple times daily
9) Maintain a clean bus including sweeping, dusting, and cleaning interior/exterior windows
10) Proper use of radio dispatch equipment
11) Perform all other duties as assigned
