Who we are:
Shift + Alt Events is one of the world's top bespoke event production companies!
We're headquartered in San Francisco, (where we're number one on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google organic search) but we produce events all over the world. Our team is based across the Bay Area, New York, LA, London, Lisbon, Montreal, Nairobi, Delhi, and beyond.

What we do:
We plan events ranging from 2-person anniversaries to 30,000-person conferences. Budgets we work with range from $20,000 to $3 million, and we do hundreds of events a year.
We primarily plan corporate events, (but they're creative and fun enough that they don't feel corporate)! We also plan private events for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
We have four main types of clients:
- Nonprofits that want to do conferences and workshops
- VCs that want to do parties and networking events
- Corporates that want to do offsites and retreats internally and externally, and brand and product launches
- High-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worths that want to do parties and trips
Who we're looking for:
Senior event producers / event planners who...
- Have been in the industry for 5+ years
- Have been the sole or lead event planner on multiple events for the full end-to-end lifecycle of those events
- Have experience managing event teams to deliver events, (not counting managing vendors and venues).
- Have extensive experience working with corporate clients on corporate events, (private event planning is a bonus)
- The following transferable skills
- Very big communicator who is incredibly responsive
- Highly organized.
- Expert at time management
- Able to strategically prioritize workload
- Incredibly high attention to detail
- Strong sense of their own personal brand and the level of quality that's important to them to deliver
- Are interested in working remotely apart from the on-site parts of the event planning process

We want to talk with you if:
You've led events from kickoff to planning to production to onsite to wrap. You know how to manage budgets. You can run a client call efficiently while also having fun with your clients. You have the confidence to be the boss on-site. When something inevitably goes sideways, you're quick to rally the team, give a pep talk, and start working on Plan B before anyone else realizes there's a problem.

What the role is:
Event leads at Shift + Alt are end-to-end event producers, meaning they are the the primary client contact, they build + managing budgets, create timelines + productions schedules, source + manage vendors, confidently run client meetings (without being too serious), leading onsite teams, managing load-ins + load-outs, and staying on top of a high-volume of digital communications.
