DATA CENTER LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY
The Data Center Logistics Coordinator manages the site logistics and inventory-control program supporting critical facilities operations. The role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, issuing, and maintaining critical spare parts, tools, test equipment, PPE, uniforms, consumables, and other operational materials. The Logistics Coordinator maintains accurate CMMS inventory records, organized 5S storage areas, appropriate stock levels, and material readiness for planned and corrective maintenance.
This role works closely with Operations, Planning, EHS, Finance, and the Vendor Specialist. The Logistics Coordinator owns physical logistics and inventory execution while supporting the Vendor Specialist’s responsibility for vendor onboarding, contracts, vendor performance, and commercial/vendor-management activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage receiving, storage, inventory, issuance, return, and tracking of criticalfacilitiesparts, tools, PPE, test equipment, uniforms, and consumables.

MaintainaccurateCMMS inventory records, including asset/barcode identification, quantities, and room/shelf/bin locations.

Maintain stockrooms and storage areas using 5S/Leanmethodology, including secure storage for critical,high-value, calibrated, or controlled items.

Maintain critical spare-part and consumable stock levels using established min/max or high/low limits; track usage and lead times to supporttimelyreplenishment.

Work with the Planner/Scheduler and Operations team toidentifyand stage parts, tools, and materials needed for daily, weekly, and upcoming maintenance activities.

Receive and inspect deliveries, document shortages or damage, and coordinate shipment, returnandtransfer,activities asrequired.

Manage tool and test-equipment check-out/return processes and support CMMS tracking of calibration and electrical safety equipment inspection requirements.

Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts, including quarterly 25% validation and an annual 100% physical inventory, and reconcile discrepancies.

Track keylogisticsmetrics such as inventory accuracy, stockouts, lead times, usage, and maintenance delays caused by unavailable materials.

Support constructionturnover by receiving, cataloging, and organizing spare parts, tools, and materials provided by the GC, OEMs, and equipment vendors.

Develop andmaintainpracticallogistics, inventory-control, receiving, and stockroom procedures and continuously improve material flow, organization, and efficiency.

Support the Vendor Specialist with operational requirements, receiving information, material status, delivery issues, and supplier-performance data. Vendor sourcing, onboarding, contracts, renewals, formal vendor performance management, and vendor financial administration remain with the Vendor Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GEDrequired; associate or bachelor’s degree inlogistics, supply chain, business, ora relatedfield preferred.

2+ years of experience inlogistics, inventory control, warehousing, supply chain, facilities, or a related operational environment.

Experience with CMMS, ERP, inventory-management, barcode, or asset-tracking systems preferred.

Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, documentation, and inventory-control skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple operational needs, andmaintaina high levelof accuracy.

Data center, critical facilities, mission-critical, industrial, or technical operations experience preferred.
PREFERRED TRAINING / CERTIFICATIONS

Lean Six Sigma training or certification preferred; Yellow Belt or Green Belt is desirable.

5S, Lean, or continuous-improvement training/certification strongly preferred.

Supply-chain or inventory-management certification such as APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The base salary range for this role is $35.00 to 40.00/Hourly. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location.
