RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Operate primary, secondary and miscellaneous machines as directed.
- Responsible for safety, quality, efficiency and housekeeping pertaining to work station and machine.
- Follow safety procedures and promote safety measures among coworkers.
- Proper maintenance of equipment, gages and tooling.
- Perform tool and insert changes and settings as required.
- Perform regular machine setups with instructions given as required.
- Able to operate vending system to obtain required tooling and supplies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with machining is a plus; however, willing to train the right applicant
- Ability to read and apply machine setup instructions and carryout setups as required.
- Capable of counting and recording data for time cards, shop orders, etc. as required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
