This contract opportunity requires skilled registered nurses to support a high-acuity environment with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and patient care excellence.
Schedule & Work Expectations:
- Monday through Friday, 7am–5pm main hours
- After-hours and weekend on-call duties (every other weekend and one weekday)
- Work location is on the 1st and 2nd floors of the South Tower
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas State RN license or compact license (required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience as an RN in a Cath Lab environment; strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
- Preferred experience with Structural Heart cases and involvement in clinical trials
- EMR proficiency, particularly with Merge
- Strong self-motivation, effective communication, and team-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care within the Cath Lab during procedures and in pre/post-care areas
- Assist in a range of advanced, often structural heart, interventions and clinical trial procedures
- Collaborate with radiologic technologists and multidisciplinary providers to ensure precise and effective care
- Respond efficiently to emergent situations while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Float to Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab Pre/Post areas as needed
Additional Information:
- Royal blue scrubs are required attire
- You’ll be part of a close-knit unit of 3–4 staff per room, serving a hospital with an average daily census of 120 patients
