Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated certified caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our client's requiring assistance in a home setting. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care while ensuring the dignity and rights of each of client are respected.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Complete our daily care plans that are tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to client rights and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to our care team.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote interaction and improve quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with care team, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- 1/2 years experience in caregiving is required.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and patient care standards.
- Understanding of client rights and the importance of dignity in caregiving.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must have vehicle / insurance.
