Marketing & Social Media Manager + Sales Support

We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Manager with Sales Support responsibilities to join our Fargo team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong creative instincts, understands social media deeply, and can operate independently without hand-holding.
Saturdays are required. Social media expertise is required. Self-starter is required.
Key Responsibilities:Marketing & Social Media (Primary Role)
- Create high-quality daily content (reels, videos, photos, short clips, walkthroughs) featuring inventory, events, promotions, and customer deliveries
- Post consistently across all major platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more
- Manage content calendars, track performance, and adjust strategy based on analytics
- Stay ahead of trends — bring ideas, not wait for them
- Work with ownership to execute marketing campaigns (Beat the Boat Show, Model Year-End Clearance, events, promos, etc.)
- Build brand personality: fun, engaging, and aligned across all stores
- Respond to comments, messages, and audience engagement as needed
- Use SEO-minded captions, hashtags, and strategies to drive reach and leads
- Capture in-store activity, events, and products without needing scripts or step-by-step direction
- Work with sales teams to spotlight inventory, top deals, and weekly priorities
Sales Support (Secondary Role)
- Assist the sales team by promoting and highlighting featured units
- Help create content for web listings, online ads, and product spotlights
- Be present on Saturdays to create live content when the store is busiest
- Support events, boat shows, demo days, and seasonal promotions
- Communicate with sales leadership on what units need focus each week
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in social media, marketing, videography, or content creation
- Must be a true self-starter — no hand-holding, no waiting for ideas, no step-by-step instructions
- Strong understanding of all major social platforms and what currently performs well
- Ability to film, edit, and publish content quickly and consistently
- Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple posts, platforms, and deadlines
- Creative mindset with an eye for what makes content go viral
- Comfortable interacting with customers and staff on camera when needed
- Ability to work Saturdays and peak seasonal hours (required)
- Basic understanding of dealership marketing is a plus (boats, pontoons, RVs, fishing)
- Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently
