Company Description Wonders Pediatric Therapy provides in-clinic, virtual, and in-home occupational therapy services to children throughout the East Bay. Wonders Pediatric Therapy focuses on family-centered care, collaborating closely with caregivers to support each child’s growth and participation at home and in the community.
Role Description We are open to both full-time and part-time COTAs, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Whether you are looking for a consistent full-time caseload or a more flexible schedule, we would love to connect with you. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting treatment sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with supervising therapists on plan-of-care updates, and educating families and caregivers on strategies to promote independence in daily activities. The COTA will also assist in developing home programs, adapting environments and tools for improved access and safety, and maintaining clear communication with the clinical team and families.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation within pediatric settings.
- Experience providing direct Patient Care, including hands-on interventions and family education.
- Ability to contribute to Program Development, including home programs and activity plans tailored to each child.
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and active state license (or eligibility for licensure) in California.
- Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory integration, and evidence-based OT practices.
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills; ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for home visits, and ability to meet physical demands of pediatric care (e.g., floor work, lifting up to a moderate weight).

$55–$60 per hour | Approximately $114K–$125K per year based on 40 hours/week

We work across multiple communities We work across multiple communities (Alameda and Contra Costa Counties), and we will work with you to build a caseload in the areas that fit your preferences whenever possible.
Mileage & Drive Time Paid Separately
For in-home clients, mileage reimbursement and drive time are paid in addition to your hourly therapy rate, so you are not expected to absorb the cost or time of traveling between clients.

Continue growing your clinical expertise with opportunities to explore areas of specialization and expand your skills. CEU and professional development expenses are covered to support your ongoing clinical development.
