Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring installations and maintenance while adhering strictly to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues within industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high-voltage circuits.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical safety procedures are followed, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects or new installations to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, system modifications, and compliance documentation.
Skills
- Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks and commercial electrical systems installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for safe compliance.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Ability to handle high-voltage wiring safely while following all electrical safety procedures.
- Experience working on construction sites, renovation projects, or similar environments requiring adaptability and hands-on expertise.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for industrial automation applications.
