Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in ingredient prep to ensure smooth kitchen flow during service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, dietary department, or restaurant kitchen is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining service is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
