Overview
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver / Lot Manager to handle golf cart deliveries and pickups throughout Palm Beach County. This role is essential to keeping our daily operations running smoothly.
In addition to driving, this position helps maintain organization of the lot, assists with loading and unloading golf carts, and ensures vehicles are ready for delivery or pickup.
This is a great position for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and being part of a small, tight-knit team
Responsibilities
- Outstanding customer service is a must as you are the main physical point of contact for our customer.
- Safely operate delivery trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklifts, winches, or manual lifting techniques.
- Manage vehicle lot by organizing, cleaning and ensure efficent and safe opertions of the lot.
- Route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as supporting overall logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving and loading activities.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service.
- Ability to operate trucks, heavy lifting equipment like forklifts and trailers.
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, and moving goods efficiently.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards for heavy vehicles.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
