Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Busser/Food runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with the front-of-house team.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Assist with food service by delivering dishes promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests depart, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing excellent guest relations.
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting are essential for success in this role.
