Summer Camp Operations Coordinator (Administrative Lead) – Seasonal
Upper West Side & Upper East Side, NYC
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Mid-June – Mid-August 2026
$20/hour

Join a fast-paced, high-energy NYC summer camp as the Operations Coordinator (Administrative Lead)—the central point of contact for families, staff, and daily camp operations.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-driven, and confident managing logistics, communication, and administrative systems in a dynamic environment.
Front Desk & Family Experience

Serve as the primary point of contact for parents (in person, phone, email)

Manage daily check-in/check-out and ensure a smooth, efficient arrival process

Support add-on services (lunch, merchandise, extended care)

Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming presence
Enrollment & Administration

Manage registrations, rosters, and attendance using camp software (e.g., Amilia)

Maintain camper records, medical forms, and compliance documentation
-
Track enrollment updates and ensure all records are accurate and audit-ready

Prepare daily and weekly reports
Communication & Coordination

Manage camp inbox and phone lines with timely, professional responses

Partner with Camp Director on daily priorities and execution

Support internal communication (staff updates, newsletters)

Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Operations & Logistics

Assist with daily setup, materials, and supplies

Coordinate weekly orders (lunch, supplies, inventory)

Track and distribute merchandise and camp materials

Provide general administrative support (printing, filing, organization)

Step in to support evolving operational needs
Required

Bachelor’s degree
-
Full availability from mid-June through mid-August

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Professional communication and customer service mindset

Ability to manage multiple systems (email, spreadsheets, registration platforms)
Preferred

Experience in administration, operations, office management, or camp settings
-
Experience with registration or CRM systems (e.g., Amilia)

Strong attention to detail and follow-through

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Must meet all New York State Department of Health requirements for summer camp administrative leadership roles, including applicable age eligibility criteria

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and required clearances
