Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and polishing to preserve flooring quality.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or appliances during deep cleaning or rearrangement tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and the use of various cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning detergents and equipment handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments comfortably.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude toward client communication.
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not required; a strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
