Kitchen Team Member / Line Cook / Fry Cook (Part Time to Full Time Growth Opportunity)
We are hiring dependable, hard working kitchen team members for a new fast paced food concept launching in the North Jersey area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in:
- Commercial fryers
- Food prep
- Sandwich or bowl assembly
- Fast paced line work
- Takeout / delivery kitchen operations
- Closing and cleaning procedures
- Portioning and consistency
This is a small team environment where every person plays an important role in daily operations. We are looking for people who work well under pressure, show up on time, stay organized, and take pride in quality and cleanliness.
Position Details
- Initial schedule will be limited part time hours as operations ramp up
- Typical starting shift: approximately 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Opportunity to grow into full time employment as business expands
- Long term operating schedule will be 6 days per week (Mondays closed)
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and sauces
- Operate fryers safely and efficiently
- Assemble customer orders accurately and quickly
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Receive and organize inventory
- Assist with prep and closing duties
- Work as part of a small, fast moving team
Requirements
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
- Fryer experience strongly preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be comfortable working nights and weekends
Compensation
- $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience
