About Us
Client is a growing concrete construction company specializing in commercial, industrial, and site concrete projects. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to oversee projects from bid through completion while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
We are looking for a motivated professional with strong estimating, scheduling, and project coordination experience in the concrete construction industry.
ResponsibilitiesEstimating
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Submit competitive and profitable bids on time
- Assist with budgeting and value engineering
Project Management
- Manage multiple concrete construction projects simultaneously
- Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Communicate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams
- Monitor project costs, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Attend project meetings and site visits as needed
- Support field operations and resolve project issues quickly
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in concrete construction estimating and/or project management
- Strong understanding of commercial concrete construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience with takeoff and estimating software preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with structural concrete, foundations, flatwork, or site concrete
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, or similar software
- Construction management or related degree preferred but not required
