Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a Functional Restoration Program in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will work with individuals experiencing chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and physical limitations to help improve function, mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
This is an onsite position with full-time or part-time scheduling options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations to assess patients’ mobility, strength, functionality, and physical limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with realistic, attainable goals based on each patient’s abilities and needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including strength training, mobility exercises, functional activities, and pain management techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical, emotional, and functional aspects of patient care.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, self-management strategies, injury prevention, and safe movement techniques.
- Encourage and motivate patients to safely work toward their functional goals and improve their physical capabilities.
- Promote the safe and responsible use of therapy and facility equipment, including adherence to best practices and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Experience working with chronic pain, work-related injuries, or functional restoration programs is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of therapeutic equipment, safe equipment use, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to motivate patients while maintaining a safe and supportive treatment environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
