American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pre-Op position requiring 2 years of experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Work in the Day Surgery unit's Pre-Op department at a Level III trauma center

Diverse patient population spanning all ages
-
Patient ratio of 1:4-5

Uses Cerner EHR system
-
Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one non-fixed day off per week

Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

No on-call requirements for this department

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

RN degree/education required

Provide pre-operative nursing care within a Level III trauma center setting

Facility offers a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center
