EHDD is seeking a thoughtful and passionate Project Architect I to join our team in Seattle. Project Architect works independently contributing to design and documentation coordination, including development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignments.
Key Responsibilities:

Contributes to and coordinates concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, in collaboration with the Senior Project Architect and Project Manager

Plan, develop, and execute technical documentation which may include interpreting, organizing, and coordinating project team assignments and coordinating with consultants, contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies.

Perform construction administration duties, including RFIs, submittals, bulletins, site observations, etc.

Execute applicable agency review analysis, including accessibility, zoning, life safety, etc.

Manage early client relationships under the direction of Project Manager.

Mentor and train junior staff members.

Contribute to a creative and congenial office environment.

Support the firm's mission through behavior consistent with the core values.
Qualifications:

Professional degree from an accredited school of architecture required.

LEED or similar accreditation preferred.

Licensed in WA.
-
5-10 years experience in a Design or Architectural practice.

Strong 3D visualization skills and ability to communicate design direction to a client.

Proficiency with Revit (required), AutoCAD and other 3D modeling software Rhino/3DS Max/Grasshopper.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Well-rounded design, presentation and technical skills.
