Construction Manager (Elevator) – Miami, FL
Are you an experienced, hands-on operations leader ready to make an impact in high-profile construction? Come join our client’s team as an elevator Construction Manager in Miami, FL. In this role, you’ll oversee elevator construction operations to ensure the department runs efficiently and cost-effectively while leading field teams and delivering customer satisfaction.
While elevator industry experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with leadership experience in related industries such as commercial general contracting and technical subcontracting. Jobsite supervision, project execution, and field management experience are a plus.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan & Prioritize Work: Direct elevator new installation activities, plan manpower needs, and manage scheduling through project management software and other tools to optimize field operations, efficiency, and productivity.
- Lead in the Field: Conduct weekly crew visits and first-day site reviews to monitor safety, jobsite progress, and customer satisfaction — documenting findings and following up as necessary.
- Manage Materials & Resources: Determine and coordinate all materials, tools, and subcontracting needs to support timely job completion and project execution.
- Collaborate across Teams: Work closely with corporate departments—including factory coordination, labor, and regional operations—to ensure alignment on schedules, materials, and production standards.
- Manage Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractor schedules, quality, and performance on turn-key projects, ensuring all deliverables meet expectations.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and architects to ensure smooth project execution and repeat business.
- Ensure Profitability: Review job performance and accounting reports to identify risks and opportunities, reporting fade issues prior to revenue recognition.
- Stay Current & Solve Problems: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements; attend training, utilize SOP documentation, and mediate internal or external challenges, including field or union-related concerns.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 5+ years of management experience in a construction environment or equivalent combination of education and hands-on leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead field operations on high-visibility or time-sensitive projects with a high level of accountability and reliability.
- Comfort interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to both teams and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence working independently and making decisions in fast-paced environments.
Location:
Onsite in Miami, FL - Local travel required to clients and jobsites.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
