Read's Uniforms is a locally owned & rapidly growing company specializing in public safety, medical, education, and hospitality uniforms. Our decoration and fulfillment center in Asheville services our 20+ retail stores and the public safety communities of 8 states.
We are seeking an associate to work as a receiving clerk in the Asheville operations center. The job includes inspecting shipments from vendors, matching up items with orders, and moving completed orders to the next part of the process. A successful candidate will be a detail-oriented critical thinker who has a good memory. He/she will be project minded, get satisfaction from completing tasks efficiently. We will teach you everything you need to know about the uniform industry, embroidery, alterations, and anything else that might come up!
We are looking for someone who is willing to work nights and weekends. This will be a part-time seasonal position. We are looking for a team player open to any task that is required to satisfy our customers' needs. Overtime is sometimes offered and is seasonally required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and check in shipments from vendors ensuring we got the correct items.
- Receive the items into our system.
- Process orders and package them.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
