Bueno Foods, one of the Southwest's premier producers of New Mexican and Mexican style foods, serving restaurant and retail customers throughout the United States, is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, who will be responsible for repairs and maintaining machines and equipment in good working order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·
- Provides minor mechanical service on all plant systems.
- Provides production support.
- Repairs machines.
- Assists in ordering parts
- Reassembles machines and equipment.
- Makes all necessary adjustments for operation.
- Fabricates and installs sheet-metal equipment and fixtures.
- Performs minor carpentry duties.
- Recognizes the safety hazards posed by electrical equipment but does not do electrical work.
- Assists completion of work assignments from MJT's and completes information to track expenses and man-hours.
- Responsible for fire prevention duties according to established policies and procedures.
- Performs other mechanical duties as necessary.
- Responsible for apparel or equipment assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as equipment mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MJT programs and systems, preferred.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs or systems, preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of HVAC systems and or experience with refrigeration systems, preferred.
- Experience with welding, preferred.
- Experience with trouble shooting mechanical, refrigeration systems, and electrical system, preferred.
- Experience with safety and lockout programs and systems.
- Has own hand tools.
- Ability to detect & trace errors.
- Ability to operate production, warehouse and material handling equipment.
- Experience with forklift safety and PM programs.
- Routine handling and lifting of supplies, materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Valid/Current Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- Formal apprenticeship or formal training in industrial trades at a certified trade school or program in electronics, programming, or PLC's.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- PM Shift: 4:00pm - 4:00am Sunday - Wednesday
Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hr, DOE
