We're seeking a dependable, compassionate female CNA or Arizona Certified Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a female client in Ahwatukee Foothills. This is a long-term position with a consistent schedule in a calm, supportive home environment.
Schedule
- Tuesday–Thursday
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Approximately 25.5 hours per week
Pay
Starting at $16.75- $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Companion care and conversation
- Approximately 2 hours or less of hands-on personal care each shift
- Gait belt, commode, and Hoyer lift transfers as needed
- Feeding tube assistance
- Repositioning, hygiene, mouth care, and skin care
- Approximately 1-2 hours of light housekeeping and client laundry
- Simple daily documentation
Relaxed Work Environment
This client enjoys a calm, relaxed environment. After the client's care needs have been met and light housekeeping has been completed, you're welcome to read a book, use your phone, or work quietly on a laptop during downtime, while remaining in the room with the client, staying attentive and available to assist as needed. The ideal caregiver enjoys providing companionship and helping the client feel comfortable throughout the day.
You'll also receive a paid 30-minute lunch break and an additional paid 15-minute break each shift. During your breaks, you may step away from the client, but you must remain in the home and be available if needed.
Requirements
- Current Arizona CNA License or Arizona Caregiver Certification
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Reliable transportation for getting to and from your scheduled shifts (no client transportation required)
- Experience with gait belt and commode transfers required
- Hoyer lift and feeding tube experience preferred
- Non-smokers only
- Must live within approximately 15–20 minutes of Ahwatukee Foothills
