Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Residential Aides to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders within a community-focused environment. As a Residential Aide, you will provide compassionate care, support residents with daily living skills, and promote behavioral health and recovery. Your proactive approach will help create a safe, supportive atmosphere that encourages positive change and personal growth for high-risk populations, including underserved communities. Duties
- Assist residents with addiction recovery plans through personalized counseling and behavioral health support
- Support residents with medication administration, ensuring proper adherence and documentation
- Manage crisis situations effectively using conflict management techniques and crisis intervention skills
- Facilitate group activities focused on addiction education, social skills, and emotional regulation
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping related to resident progress and case management
- Support families of residents by providing communication updates and coordinating home & community care services
- Implement safety protocols including manual handling, first aid, CPR, and security procedures to ensure resident safety
Qualifications
- Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to handle high-risk situations calmly and effectively
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or from underserved communities
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with case management practices, data collection, filing systems, and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and confidently in various settings
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or security training are highly desirable
- Prior experience working with high-risk populations in home & community care environments is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
