Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.
Duties
- Assist in the construction, renovation, and repair of residential and commercial buildings.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform demolition tasks as required
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in construction.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project needs..
