On-Call: Every 5th Weekend
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Care Leader for a 13-week travel assignment in Mandan, North Dakota. The Clinical Care Leader will oversee resident care, coordinate interdisciplinary services, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with long-term care regulations while promoting high-quality, resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Supervise and delegate duties to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in health status.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement and resident safety initiatives.
- Assist with care conferences and discharge planning.
- Support staff education and clinical development.
- Participate in on-call rotation every fifth weekend.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
