MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AWS Cloud Administrator to join our team. This is a 100% remote opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operate and maintain the Cloud One Zone C AWS GovCloud environment that supports the program's legacy Air Force HR systems and nine developer teams.

Perform daily cloud operations, including networking, backups, monitoring, patching, and cost management.

Administer the Cloud One Zone C Windows domain and server infrastructure, including Active Directory and Windows servers.

Operate and maintain the RHEL and Oracle infrastructure that hosts program applications, including operating system upgrades and migrations.

Support CI/CD and DevOps tooling for the developer applications, and build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Manage AWS accounts, user access, and resource governance, and provision environments for the developer teams.

Triage and resolve developer environment issues, work Jira tickets, and handle escalations.

Support scheduled patching and mission critical tasks beyond normal duty hours as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. An additional 4 years of related experience might be considered for a degree

8+ years of systems or cloud engineering experience

Hands-on AWS administration covering systems operations, site reliability, and cost management. GovCloud experience preferred.

Windows Server and Active Directory administration.

Security+ CE certification (DoD 8140, IAT Level II)

HashiCorp Terraform Associate and CompTIA Linux+ Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and knowledge of classified security enclaves.

Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of web services, including API and REST, and a strong understanding of networking and internet protocols.

Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resources processes.

Prior IT support of military personnel applications, or experience supporting a DoD customer as a contractor.

AWS certifications preferred, such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer, Advanced Networking, or Security.
Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and government stakeholders, which may involve delivering technical presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
