Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems to include Cat 5 e , fiber install and terminations commercial/retail environments previous Walmart experience a plus . This is night work and is a 12 week project !
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during all installations and repairs.
- Provide field service support as needed, responding promptly to service calls.
Skills
- Proficiency in running , terminating and testing of CAT5E and fiber.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations related to low voltage systems
- Ability to perform field service tasks effectively in various environments.
- Solid electrical knowledge with hands-on experience in low voltage installations.
- ability to work independently and lead on large projects
- Competence in using power tools safely for installation tasks.
- Previous experience as a service technician is requires
