Job Summary
Harris Custodian Service is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hardworking Custodial Worker to provide professional cleaning and floor-care services at commercial facilities.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners with precision and safety.
- Conduct detailed floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures, storage protocols, and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report equipment problems to management.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties within the required timeframe.
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Must have 2 years of professional janitorial cleaning experience and floor care experience, including stripping and waxing floors and shampooing rugs or carpets.
- Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Must have reliable personal transportation to and from assigned job locations.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working at customer locations.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
