FirstLight Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in Salem, Oregon. This is a full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a client's quality of life.
Schedule (Must Be Available for All Shifts):
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Experience using a Hoyer lift
- Ability to safely transfer and assist clients with mobility needs
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while providing excellent client care
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Perform safe transfers using a Hoyer lift and other transfer techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and safety monitoring
- Complete daily documentation and care notes
- Support client independence while ensuring comfort and safety

Please Note:
Oregon caregivers are not required to hold an HCA or CNA license for this position; however, previous hands-on caregiving experience and transfer experience are required.
