Time: 2:10pm to 3:30pm (after-school program for Children attending Kindergarten to 5th Grade)
Compensation: $60.00/Session
Location: Schools in Boca Raton
Duties:
- Plan and lead sports coaching sessions in Basketball
- Provide instruction and guidance to students of different ages and skill levels.
- Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies related to the specific sport.
- Create and implement training programs to improve students' physical fitness and performance.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and making adjustments as needed.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior among students.
- Supervise sports competitions, tournaments, or events.
- Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and staff members to coordinate Coverage of schedule.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with sports
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students.
- Ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the needs of individual students.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Childcare experience (preferred).
