SERVER/WAITSTAFF
Le Chateau (www.lechateaubanquets.com / IG: @lechateau_ny) re-opened in the fall of 2017, exclusively for weddings and private events.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and some Thursdays.
HOURS + PAY
· Hourly position with the potential of up to 30 to 40 hours per week in the peak season (April through November), with additional shifts available during off-peak months.
· Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings.
· Our events do not run past 11pm, and we only host one event per day.
· Pay is $20 per hour.
· A hot meal is provided during each event shift.
REQUIREMENTS
· Prior waitstaff or customer service experience in a restaurant, hotel, banquet hall or country club setting is preferred, but not required. We will provide training.
· Professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor.
· Comfortable interacting with event guests and co-workers.
· Ability to follow direction and move in a fast-paced setting.
· Ability to stand for 9 hrs length of time.
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
· WE ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH SALEM, NY (Upper Westchester).
POSITION DETAILS
· Set ballroom and cocktail areas for each function, including polishing flatware and glassware.
· Serve, clear, and/or replenish food items during cocktail hour.
· Serve and clear dinner courses in a team setting.
