EDO is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Busser / Food Runner / Expo to join our restaurant team!
This position is an important part of keeping service running smoothly. You will support our servers and kitchen team by keeping tables clean and organized, running food, assisting with expo, and making sure guests receive their food promptly and correctly.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist servers throughout service
- Run food and drinks from the kitchen to guests
- Assist with expo by organizing and checking plates before they leave the kitchen
- Ensure food goes to the correct table and matches the order
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding orders
- Keep dining areas, service stations, and work areas clean and organized
- Restock plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
- Assist with opening and closing side work
- Help wherever needed during busy service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures
Qualifications
- Restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Must be able to safely carry plates, trays, and other restaurant items
- Attention to cleanliness and detail is essential
