This job involved making phone calls, sending emails, scheduling appointments and inputting data into our computer system, Striven. We need your help moving our customers through the funnel and onboarding them into our system.
The Stove Shop Fireplace Experts is a family owned and operated retail hearth shop offering a complete line of wood, gas and pellet burning fireplaces, stoves, and inserts. We are looking for a full-time customer service focused individual to work in our showroom in Phoenixville, PA.
We are looking for someone who will embrace the core values of our family business and provide exceptional customer service in this warm and friendly environment. The spring/ summer hours for this position are Tuesday-Saturday 9-4. Fall/ Winter hours from Labor Day to Saint Patrick's day are 9 - 5 Tuesday - Friday and 9 - 4 on Saturday. RESPONSIBILITIES
*Take initiative using our computer systems. Understanding how to use ERP systems and Google Gmail is beneficial.
*Answer incoming phone calls and speaks to customers in the showroom.
*Follow up with customers on sales calls, schedules service calls and generally help solve customer's problems.
*Help maintain the showroom’s presentation by taking pride in a clean environment.
*Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate person.
* Follow up with completed installations and check-in with customers proactively.
* Act as coordinator for special customer initiatives like thank you notes, anniversary presents, and other bespoke gifts.
*Maintain the coffee, snacks, business cards, brochures and other showroom items.
*Clean showroom before open and after close with vacuum, mop and dusting.
*Prove that you pay attention and tell me your favorite book in the application.
*Collect payment and help customers buy good or place deposits for open orders.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Excellent customer service and good telephone etiquette.
*Proficient and self directed with basic computer systems.
*Candidate should live within a 25-minute commute of Phoenixville, PA 19460.
*Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
*The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong interpersonal skills as the position requires daily contact with customers, managers, and salespeople.
*Ability to move up to 50 pounds and having a forklift certification is a plus.
Starting salary is $22 per hour with the ability to earn more pay by gaining experience and eventually taking on additional responsibilities. We offer an excellent benefits package which includes health and life insurance, LTD, FSA, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and holidays.
