Become a Key Player as a Machinist - CMM Programmer
You will develop and run CMM inspection programs that ensure parts meet engineering and customer requirements, directly supporting production, quality, and engineering stakeholders on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). This is an onsite role where your work enables timely first-article, in-process, and final inspections to maintain product conformance and drive continuous improvement.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS, Polyworks, Camio, or equivalent software
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and customer requirements to create inspection routines
Set up and operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections on machined, fabricated, and assembled components
Execute first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections and generate inspection reports
Verify calibration status of inspection equipment and maintain proper records
Troubleshoot programming and measurement discrepancies and communicate nonconformances to Quality, Engineering, and Production
Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, internal/customer audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Recommend process improvements to increase inspection efficiency and product quality
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong metrology knowledge and experience operating CMM equipment
Proficiency with CMM programming software (PC-DMIS, Polyworks, Camio, or equivalent)
Solid understanding and application of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models
Experience executing first article, in-process, and final inspections

Pay Range
