Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Bankruptcy Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage bankruptcy cases from intake through discharge, communicate effectively with clients, and collaborate with our legal staff to ensure efficient case resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases from start to finish
- Conduct client consultations and assess case eligibility
- Review petitions, schedules, and supporting documents for accuracy
- Attend 341 meetings and court hearings (virtually or in-person as needed)
- Communicate with trustees, creditors, and court personnel
- Provide updates to clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring full understanding of their case process
- Maintain compliance with all bankruptcy filing and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice before the Texas Federal Bankruptcy Court in all four districts (Northern, Eastern, Western, Southern) or licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling consumer bankruptcy cases
- Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Compensation:
- Competitive rate based on experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
