Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented real estate Asset Management Analyst to join our team and drive excellence in managing our asset portfolio. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to optimize asset utilization, support data-driven decision-making models, and manage development vendors and contractors for a family office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in updating asset data using excel to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the asset portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for asset management projects, from vendors to contractors, and running strategy to ground.
- Manage current real estate assets by taking a proactive approach by tracking lease renewals and terminations and all critical dates, auditing operating expenses, coordinating landlord approvals, and assisting in property tax appeals.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance of portfolio assets and address non-performance and legal issues related to the property.
- Coordinate with property management team to develop, track and monitor rehab/redevelopment process, ensure compliance with loan documents and agreements, construction and capex plans developed and agreed upon by Owners.
- For development and capex projects, coordinate, and possibly lead property improvement projects, including draws, construction consultants and working with general contractors to manage construction.
- Partner with property and construction management for field projects and oversee conformance to lease requirements.
- Manage marketing and leasing for assigned commercial properties.
- Participate in the underwriting and coordination of assets to evaluate a purchase and/or sale of individual properties within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with property management team to forecast income and expense projections, capital requirements, and risk-return analysis via budgets / Priorities for new year
- Deliver consistent and accurate reporting to the team to aid in the overall management of the portfolio.
- Coordinate with staff and others to review and interpret legal documents, such as loan agreements, guarantees, and promissory notes, and coordinate with appropriate parties to ensure compliance.
- Assist with the strategic planning for the acquisition and disposition of properties, including financial analysis, market information, offering terms and conditions, contract review, and negotiations.
- Assist in sales process of asset, to include hold/sell analysis, Broker selection, negotiations of purchase & sale agreement, and negotiations with seller/buyer through close.
- Site visitation of managed properties on an as-needed basis
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of real estate investment principles and operations, with preferred experience with office, retail, and industrial verticals.
- Prior experience in commercial real estate asset management, underwriting, and/or transactions, 1-2 years preferred.
- Strong proficiency in excel financial modeling, budgetary reporting, and Yardi.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices to develop compelling dashboards that support business insights.
- Effective project management skills, with proactive approach and a self starter.
- Strong business analysis capabilities including requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
